  • Bayside offers Safe Harbor, a place where parents with special needs children can leave their child with aides so they can attend a weekend service at Bayside. 
  • The room is open during the 4:15pm and 6pm services on Saturdays and during the 9:45am and 11:15am services on Sundays. 
  • Include Me Klub is an inclusion ministry also offered during weekend services.  
  • Through the Roof is a program designed to assist families with children who have special needs as a result of physical, developmental, or cognitive challenges.  
  • Every first Friday of the month, FridayNite KidzKlub and TeenzKlub provide opportunities for parents to have a date night, while qualified volunteers care for your children and teenagers. 
  • Reservations are required.

  • Provides one-on-one coaching for your special needs child with background screened coaches while parents attend services. 
  • Services provided for children from Birth through 8th grade at the 9:30am service and for ages 15 through young adult at the 11:15am Sunday service. 
  • In order to better serve your child, children must be pre-enrolled.

  • On Eagles Wings, Special Needs ministry offers free respite care for families with special needs children and their siblings on the third Friday of each month from 6-9pm. 
  • During Sunday morning programs, each child is matched with a “buddy” who shadows and assists them in the appropriate classroom setting.
  • There is also a special room, staffed with trained adults who can help comfort, redirect and love children who need a break from the Sunday morning routine.

  • Side Kick Alley – Children are paired with “buddies” who have been trained in working with special needs children during the 6:30pm service on Saturday and the 9am service on Sunday. 
  • Children with special needs can attend “regular” class with a buddy or spend time in a special needs room. 
  • Prior evaluations are required in order to place a child in the special needs program.

  • Our objective is to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of this group of people in practical ways. 
  • Programs include Family Retreats – five day summer programs across the United States where families affected by disability can find hope and get a break from the challenges of everyday life.
